The International Think Tank for LLDCs congratulates and welcomes the UN-OHRLLS -The United Nations Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and the Small Island Developing States as OBSERVER in the International Think Tank for LLDCs
The Board of Governors of the ITLLDC , as the highest authority of the ITTLLDC established by the Multilateral agreement on the establishment of an International Think Tank for LLDCs, has discussed the request of UN-OHRLLS for becoming an observer in the ITTLLDC and all member states represented in the Board of the ITTLLDC has approved the —OHRLLS’ request on June 1, 2019 in accordance with the respective articles of the General Principles and Rules of Procedures for the Operation of the ITTLLDCs.
ITTLLDC and the UN-OHRLLS have been coordinating their operation more actively since 2014 and the ITTLLDC is certain that the relations and cooperation between the two organizations will be further strengthened and developed in the years to come for the benefit of all LLDCs.
