The International Think Tank for LLDCs would like to extend its gratitude to H.E. Gyan Chandra Acharya for his continuous support to the International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries while serving as the Under-Secretary-General and High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States.
We had the pleasure to welcome Mr. Acharya to the headquarter of the International Think Thank for LLDCs in 2014 and to meet him on several other occasions around the world.
Mr. Acharya always highlighted the important role of the International Think Thank for the implementation of the Vienna Programme of Action for LLDCs.
The ITT for LLDCs wishes farewell to Mr. Acharya, who inspired us through his hard work and firm commitment towards the LDCs, LLDCs, and SIDS throughout his entire tenure as USG and High Representative for LLDCs and LDCs.
