On September 20, 2016 H.E. Mr. Munkh-Orgil Tsend, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, met with H.E. Aslov Sirojidin Muhridinovich, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan on the side lines of the UNGA 71.
Having briefed H.E. Aslov Sirojidin Muhridinovich on the recent activities of the International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries Minister Ts.Munkh-Orgil expressed his confidence that Tajikistan would ratify the Multilateral Agreement on the Establishment of an International Think Tank for LLDCs at its earliest convenience.
Furthermore, the Mongolian Foreign Minister emphasized the possibility of further cooperation of the two countries in the fields of transit transportation, free trade and other areas of mutual interest.
H.E. Aslov Sirojidin Muhridinovich assured that the Mongolian request will be given high importance and he also emphasized that a decision will be made in the nearest future.
