During their visit to Geneva, the Secretariat of the ITTLLDC had the opportunity to meet the missions of Austria and United Kingdom on the days of June 16-17, 2022.
From the Permanent Mission of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the United Nations Office in Geneva, the Secretariat met with Mr. Oli Sharp, Head of Trade for Development, and Mr. Josiah Littlehales, Second Secretary of Trade for Development and from the Permanent Mission of Austria to the United Nations Office in Geneva – Mr. Andreas Bilgeri, Counsellor.
ITTLLDC Executive Director Mr. Dulguun Damdin-Od took this occasion to introduce the activities of the ITTLLDC and ongoing projects that are being planned, such as the development of a free trade model agreement specifically designed for the landlocked developing countries and a regional experience-sharing conference for the economic empowerment of women entrepreneurs in Asian (with a view to expanding) LLDCs.
