The International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries had the opportunity to invite the renowned Professor Mr. Proshanto K. Mukherjee of the World Maritime University to hold a public lecture on the “Law of the Sea and the Interests of LLDCs” at the ITT for LLDCs as a result of its cooperation with the Mongolian Maritime Administration under the Ministry of Road and Transport of Mongolia. This was the first workshop conducted in cooperation with the Mongolian Maritime Administration under the Memorandum of Understanding signed by both parties.
Within the framework of this lecture more than 100 people were given the chance to attend the comprehensive lecture on law of the sea and its relevance to landlocked countries and to enhance their understanding of issues caused by landlockedness.
The participants were all interested in the topic, which was demonstrated by the numerous questions arisen from them.
