Executive Director Mr.Dulguun attends the Regional Meeting on “Enhancing energy efficiency of the freight transport sector in Asia and the Pacific” on 09 to 10 August 2023 Kathmandu, Nepal organized by Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN-ESCAP).
This Regional Meeting aims to enhance the capacity of policymakers and other stakeholders in ESCAP region to formulate and implement effective policies and plans to promote energy-efficient future for freight transport sector, notably road transport in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 7, 9 and 11.
In order to achieve its objective, it will provide a detailed analysis of the current state of affairs but also offers insights into future paths and strategies that will transform the freight transport sector.
The meeting was attended by the Asian landlocked developing countries with Azerbaijan Armenia Turkey Brazil Kenya and other Asian countries. Mr.Dulguun attended as a speaker and introduced Asian Landlocked Developing Countries freight transport situation and their transition to the Energy efficient freight transport.
