International Think Tank for LLDCs participating in the Global Think Tank Summit 2017

Yokohama, Japan on May 1-3, 2017

On the invitation of Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) the International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries (ITT for LLDCs) is participating in the Global Think Tank Summit 2017.

The Global Think Tank Summit 2017 is expected to attract over 100 think tanks officials from from over 80 organizations in more than 60 countries. Provisional speaker list includes Haruhiko Kuroda (Governor, Bank of Japan), Fumiko Hayashi (Mayor, Yokohama City), Muhammad Yunus (Nobel Peace Prize Laureate; Founder of Grameen Bank; Yunus Centre), Takehiko Nakao (President, Asian Development Bank), Naoyuki Yoshino (Dean, Asian Development Bank Institute; Professor, Keio University), and James McGann (Director, Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program, The Lauder Institute, University Pennsylvania).

The event aims to encourage policy dialogue among high-level policy-makers and think tank officials on crucial issues as well as generate papers and policy briefs on crucial issues with help of high-level policy-makers and think tank officials.
