Interim Director of the ITT for LLDCs Mr. E.Odbayar M.A. has met with Mr. S.Kumagai, Chief, Senior researcher of Inter-Disciplinary research center, IDE-JETRO and both sides agreed on collaborating on the Geographical Simulation Model called GSM.
GSM is a calculating model which is already being used by ERIA, WTO, ADB and IDE. This model simulates the long term evolution of population and the location of industries. It also estimates the economic effect of infrastructure development and customs facilitation at the sub-national level.
