Mr. Odbayar Erdenetsogt, Interim Director of the ITT, met with Mr. Santiago Villalpando, Chief of Treaty section, Office of Legal Affairs of the UN at the UN Headquarters on 22 September on the side lines of the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Mr.Odbayar informed the Treaty section about the numerous efforts being made by the government of Mongolia and the think tank and introduced its numerous awareness raising activities with which the think tank draws the attention of member states to the ratification of the Multilateral Agreement for the Establishment of an International Think Tank for LLDCs.
Mr. Santiago expressed the readiness of the Treaty section to further assist and support the think tank and expressed his hope that the Multilateral Agreement will soon enter into force.
