H.E. Mr. Munkh-Orgil Tsend, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia met with H.E. Mr. Nikola Poposki, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, at the United Nations Headquarters on 21 September and discussed issues of mutual interest.
Minister Ts.Munkh-Orgil introduced to his counterpart the International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries to which the Government of Mongolia is attaching great importance.
Furthermore, the Mongolian Minister expressed his hope that Macedonia will ratify the Multilateral Agreement on the Establishment of an International Think Tank for LLDCs at its earliest convenience.
The Foreign Minister of Macedonia promised to pay special attention to the Mongolian request and invited his Mongolian counterpart to visit Macedonia at a time of his convenience.
