Mongolia and Turkmenistan discuss topics related to the International Think Tank for LLDCs.

On November 26, 2016 Vice Minister of road and transportation development of Mongolia, Mr. B.Tsogtgerel and the Interim Director of ITT for LLDCs, Mr. E.Odbayar were received by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Mr. Vepa Hajiyev on the side lines of the Global Conference on sustainable transport.

Having briefed Deputy Minister Hajiyev on the recent activities of the International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries Vice Minister Tsogtgerel expressed his confidence that Turkmenistan would ratify the Multilateral Agreement on the Establishment of an International Think Tank for LLDCs at its earliest convenience.

Deputy Foreign Minister Vepa Hajiyev informed the Mongolian delegation that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan is aware of the active operation of the International Think Tank and expressed his certainty that internal assesment of Turkmenistan regarding the Turkmen accession to the agreement on the International Think Tank will soon be finalized.
