On Tuesday, January 26, Mr. E.Odbayar, Interim Directorof the ITT for LLDCs received Ms. Manon Bernier, UNV Regional Manager for Asia Pacific at the International Think Tank in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
At the outset of the meeting Mr. E.Odbayar thanked for the support given by the UNV Field Unit in Mongolia for facilitating the hosting of ITT for LLDCs’s very first UN Volunteer from Japan.
Mr. E.Odbayar then introduced to Ms.Manon Bernier the background, activities of the ITT for LLDCs, initiatives behind the Establishment of the International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries.
Within the framework of the meeting both sides discussed principal modalities of hosting more UN Volunteers in LLDCs in general and hosting more volunteers at the International Think Tank in particular.
